LAUSANNE (SUI) FIG Office, September 24, 2008: The Gymnastics for All delegates of the Pan-American Gymnastics Union (PAGU) met in Cancun (MEX) to evaluate the situation of their activities and to fix the guidelines for the future development.
Mr. Flemming Knudsen (DEN) represented the GFA Committee of the FIG at this meeting. He explained the details of the different projects and the current development. The politics and the strategy, the communication and the motivation were the main topics and sometimes gave reason to impassioned discussions.
The attention of the participants was focussed on the FIG Gym For Life Challenge in 2009, the International Sport & Culture Festival as well as the World Gymnaestrada in 2011. The delegates asked many questions, answered by the representatives from Dornbirn (AUT), Dallas (USA) and Lausanne (SUI).
