INDIANAPOLIS (January 30, 2023) – Six gymnasts, including three event veterans, are headed to the 2023 Nastia Liukin Cup after securing their spots based on the results of three qualifying invitationals held last week. In total, 20 junior and 20 senior USA Gymnastics Women’s Development Program athletes will vie for their division’s all-around title February 24 at Louisville’s Freedom Hall.

This week’s qualifiers are listed alphabetically by invitational below. Click the event name for results.

  • Biles International Invitational in Houston, Texas: Lily Bruce, Kingwood, Texas/World Champions Centre, senior; Kennedy Emerling, Scottsdale, Ariz./Pearland Elite, junior
  • Denver Winterfest Classic in Denver, Colo.: Addy Fulcher, Gastonia, N.C./Bull City Gymnastics, junior; Lily Smith, Limerick, Pa./Silvia’s Gymnastics, senior
  • River City Classic in Omaha, Neb.: Presley Duke, Yukon, Okla./Dynamo Gymnastics, senior; Greta Krob, Tipton, Iowa/Iowa Gym-Nest, junior

Bruce, Duke and Krob have each previously competed in the Nastia Liukin Cup’s junior division.

With three weeks remaining in the seven-week Nastia Liukin Cup Series, only 12 of 40 spots have awarded. Another four gymnasts will punch their tickets this week at the Long Beach Open in Long Beach, Calif., and Buckeye Classic in Columbus, Ohio.
