Foster, Kautzman and U.S. Senior National Group to take part in season's final FIG Rhythmic World Cup Series stop June 3-5 in Pesaro, Italy

PESARO, Italy (June 2, 2022) - With the International Gymnastics Federation's 2022 Rhythmic World Cup Series set to conclude this weekend in Pesaro, Italy, U.S. athletes are making the most of their final opportunity to gain experience on the world stage before next month's Pan American Championships and The World Games.

Alexandria Kautzman (Simi Valley, Calif./California Rhythms), who delivered a top-ten all-around finish in Tashkent in April, will make her second World Cup appearance of the season. Erica Foster (Chanhassen, Minn./NorthWest Rhythmic), the youngest athlete in the last year's World Championships field, is eying her 2022 international debut. The U.S. Senior National Group will also hit the World Cup stage for the first time Friday at Vitrifrigo Arena.

Individual gymnasts will show hoop and ball Friday. Foster will compete with Group A at 5:30 a.m. ET with Kautzman to follow in Group C at 8:35 a.m. ET. Group A will present clubs and ribbon Saturday at 6:45 a.m. ET, while Group C will close out the all-around competition at 9:45 a.m. ET.

The U.S. group - comprised of Maria Bolkhovitinova (Northfield, Ill.), Isabella Ivanova (Kirkland, Wash.), Gergana Petkova (Barrington, Ill.), Katrine Sakhnov (Sammamish, Wash.), Karolina Saverino (Elk Grove Village, Ill.), Hana Starkman (Plantation, Fla.) and Emily Wilson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) - has been assigned to Group B. They will perform on five hoops Friday at 12:10 p.m. ET and three ribbons and two balls Saturday at 11:45 a.m. ET.

The top eight individual and group scorers on each apparatus will qualify to Sunday's finals, which are slated to kick off at 8:10 a.m. ET. Thirty countries, in addition to the U.S., are expected to participate.
