Employment Opportunity - Rhythmic Program Manager

Position Summary
The Rhythmic Program Manager is responsible to provide support and assist the program personnel with all Rhythmic Gymnastics activities. This individual will report to the Vice President Rhythmic Program. This position will lead USA Gymnastics efforts in the promotion of a safe, healthy training environment for all participants, and will promote compliance with and enforcement of applicable USA Gymnastics rules, policies, and safe sport provisions in the gymnastics community.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be knowledgeable of the rhythmic program to communicate effectively internally with office staff, and externally to the rhythmic program membership
  • Keep the website current for rhythmic committee contacts, committee minutes, webinar recordings, athlete listing, and other essential program information
  • Assist with varied administrative tasks for the rhythmic program
  • Attend committee meetings as a rhythmic program representative and work closely with committees
  • Coordinate shipping needs
  • Coordinate logistics for all events and camps, including securing facilities, working with vendors, registration, payments, forms, waivers, schedules, hospitality, etc.
  • Coordinate logistics for rhythmic program webinars/online educational offerings
  • Manage booking of domestic travel for meetings and events and, internationally for competitions.
  • Prepare delegations administratively for international competitions, including registrations, assistance with securing visas, obtaining signed Safe Sport documentation, submitting travel and personal information to organizing committees, arranging lodging, meal plans, transportation, etc.
  • Inventory National Team Apparel and disseminate as directed
  • Manage and maintain FIG Licenses
  • Process all invoices submitted for the rhythmic program for honorariums, coach/club support, international travel, etc.
  • Process results from rhythmic judges' courses and keep current list of judges up to date
  • Create and post content for the rhythmic program Instagram account
  • Keep track of rhythmic program committee terms and run elections
  • Collaborate with the communications team to provide content and event results, and review press releases
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a related field, and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Olympic Sports and/or Gymnastics preferred; rhythmic gymnastics experience is a plus.
  • Must be flexible, able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment, proficient in Microsoft Office programs, and have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Other Information

  • Domestic travel and work on nights/weekends will be required.
  • This position often requires work in the evenings and on weekends
  • Domestic and international travel is expected and required
  • Position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience
