Summary Description
The Women's Xcel Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and administration of all aspects of the Women's Xcel Program. This individual works closely with Women's Program committees and reports to the Vice President of Women's Program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspect of USA Gymnastics' Women's Xcel Program, all Divisions.
  • Develop, guide and implement competitive rules for the Xcel Program with the Xcel Committee.
  • Develop annual strategic plan and budget for the Xcel Program.
  • Annually update and revise institutional documents including Rules and Policies and technical materials.
  • Liaise with the Women's Xcel Committee.
  • Contribute educational materials to USA Gymnastics University, as requested.
  • Assist with development and implementation of technical rules, education, and materials, as needed.
  • Participate in designated committee meetings and provide administrative support for committees.
  • Respond to any calls or correspondence from the gymnastics community relating to the Xcel Program.
  • Participate in the administration of Regional and National Congresses.
    • Lecture on Xcel Program topics.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in business, sports management or related field, and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience within USA Gymnastics Women's Xcel program as an athlete, coach, judge or administrator, or club owner. The preferred candidate is a highly organized individual with excellent written and oral communication skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple assignments, work well both with a group as well as independently and have the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Domestic travel is required.
