International Sanctioned Events
posted on 12/12/2019

From time-to-time we receive questions from gyms looking for international club invitationals to attend. In order to assist the T&T community, the USA National Coaching staff has put together a list of competitions that may be appropriate for clubs to attend in 2020. This is not an exhaustive list nor an endorsement of the competitions within – it is purely some options to assist clubs looking to attend an overseas competition. Clubs are wholly responsible for contacting the organizers regarding all aspects of the competition.

The International Participation Request form (available here) must be used for any activities that clubs plan to attend in a foreign country. International sporting travel is a privilege, and it is not guaranteed that a request will be granted. Criteria for consideration are as follows:

  • Athletes must have participated in the previous National Championships as a Level 9 or above
  • Athlete must be an Athlete Member accompanied by a Professional Member in good standing
  • Competition must be a club invitational and not an assigned USA Team event per the current calendar
