Regions VII, III wins Level 8, 9 team competitions at U.S. Men's Junior Olympic Nationals

Region VII took the Junior Elite Level 8 team title with a score of 240.500. Region III finished second, posting a 237.700, with Region I in third at 236.400. In the Level 9 Junior Elite competition, Region III posted a 247.000, followed by Region I (241.600) and Region VI (239.900). Region I and Region VII won the Junior Olympic Level 8 and Level 9 team titles, respectively. In the club competition, Gymnastics Olympica claimed the Level 8 title, while WOGA won the Level 9 crown.
Competition continues today with the second day of Level 10 competition.
In the junior elite division, athletes compete one day of optional routines followed by technical sequences, which are scheduled for Saturday. The following athletes posted the top Level 8 and 9 scores in the all-around for each age group.
