Athlete of the Week
Taylor Rezendes - Converse
Rezendes, a sophomore top from Tracy, Calif., competed in 10 total heats to help Converse to a win over Alderson Broaddus last week. Rezendes helped Converse record its first-ever 10.0 in the open pyramid and also led the Vulkyries to a 9.60 in the compulsory acro, which set a new program high for the heat. She also competed in the synch pyramid, compulsory pyramid, and compulsory toss – all scoring a 9.80 in the meet.

Specialist of the Week
Carly Duval - Quinnipiac
Duval, a junior top from Tampa, Fla., helped Quinnipiac set new season highs in a pair of acro heats last week. She was a standout in Quinnipiac's 10.0 scoring five-element acro, before competing in the teams seven-element acro, which scored a 9.65. The 10.0 score was the second of the season for Quinnipiac.

Freshman of the Week
Hannah Alonzo - Azusa Pacific
Alonzo, a top from Glen Cove, N.Y., earned freshman of the week honors for the third time this season for her performance during Azusa Pacific's victory last week. Alonzo competed in 10 total heats for the Cougars last week, including a pair of heats that scored a 9.90 (seven-element acro, open pyramid). She also helped APU to scores of 9.80 in the compulsory pyramid, 9.75 in compulsory toss, and 9.60 in both the inversion pyramid and 450 salto toss. She competed in three heats that posted season highs.
