The primary goal of this course is to increase safety and risk management awareness and has been designed for a variety of audiences - gymnastics coaches, teachers, instructors, club owners, meet directors, judges, athletes and others. The USA Gymnastics Safety/Risk Management course addresses risk in gymnastics and provides educational guidance and tools gymnastics professionals need to deal with risk and uncertainty in the sport.
- The U101 Safety/Risk Management course is offered as an online course.
- U101 Safety/Risk Management is required for all Professional Members and Junior Professional Members of USA Gymnastics.
- We recommend taking this course using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers.
- Re-certifying members can take the course up to one year prior to expiration. New expiration date will be July 31, four years from your expiring year.
The online course takes approximately four to five hours to complete.

- Individuals will have access to the online course for 30 days. The course must be completed during that time otherwise you will have to re-register and pay for the course again. Additionally, if individuals allow the course to expire, any activity in the course will be lost and individuals must start the course from the beginning.
- Users must progress through each page and chapter of the course before accessing the final test. There is a 25-question final exam which must be passed with 75% or better score.

Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Owner/Managing Director, Judge, Meet Director, Athlete (age 14 and older) - $85 for Non-Members (note: certificates are unavailable to Non-Members)
