The University of Michigan edged the defending national champion University of Oklahoma to claim the first women’s team title in school history at the 2021 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
Laura Zeng posted an 87.900 in the all-around at the 2021 Tashkent (Uzbekistan) World Cup, to finish 12th. Her 23.400 on hoop and 23.750 on ball on Day 1 of the competition have qualified her to compete in Sunday’s apparatus finals.
Stanford University’s 413.855 led all teams on Day 1 of the 2021 NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Championships at the Maturi Pavilion in Minneapolis. The defending national champions advanced to Saturday’s team final along with Michigan, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Illinois.
Anastasia Webb of the University of Oklahoma took the all-around crown at the 2021 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships Friday at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
