Olympic, World and U.S. all-around champion Simone Biles of Spring, Texas/World Champions Centre, is one of six women nominated for Sportswoman of the Year for the 2019 Laureus World Sports Awards, the world’s pre-eminent international sports awards.
The four-man team of Fuzzy Benas, Isaiah Drake, Josh Karnes and Colt Walker, along with alternate Raydel Gamboa, are set to take on the top juniors from several countries at the 2019 RD761 Junior International Team Cup at the Leonard Merrell Center in Katy, Texas, Jan. 18-19.
The 10th-annual Nastia Liukin Cup Series kicked off this past weekend with the four competitions, where the first eight athletes earned their spots to the 2019 Nastia Liukin Cup, scheduled for March 1 at the Greensboro (N.C.) Coliseum.
