Stephen Nedoroscik, Colin Van Wicklen and Donnell Whittenburg will compete in the 2019 World Cup in Cottbus, Germany, Nov. 21-24. Held at the Lausitz Arena, the event is part of the International Gymnastics Federation’s individual apparatus World Cup Series and the Olympic qualification process.
Simone Biles was named the Female Olympic Athlete of the Year for the 2019 Team USA Awards, presented by Dow, Best of the Year, recognizing the outstanding achievements of Team USA athletes, teams and coaches in eight categories.
The Lander University Department of Athletics announced the addition of Acrobatics & Tumbling last week, becoming the 30th Member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to join the NCATA. Lander is a Division II institution in Greenwood, S.C.
From November 11-15, 2019, the Rhythmic Program welcomed 34 athletes, their coaches, and 4 judges in Lake Placid for the first Elite High Performance Camp. This camp was patterned after the National Team High Performance Camp that took place a few days prior.
